I ordered KFC Spice Rice for delivery from KFC Kottawa. The food was securely packed. It tasted yummy and really spicy. The portion was enough for one person, with boneless chicken piece. Worth the price overall, but there were too many curry leaves and a bit of oiliness.

My favourite nowadays .... Don't know why KFC is not giving that much attention on promoting this newly added item. Have bought this few times. A good big potion of chicken loaded with cheese and spicy chicken ham with nachos. Great deal for the price of Rs. 1690/-. Hope they won't increase the price

The KFC in Kottawa is one of the largest in the country. It is right beside the Highlevel Road just before the Kottawa Roundabout, making it easy to find. For parking, they have provided an adequate car park behind the building with a bit of space at the front to drop people off. It is busiest in the evening as people come here in their droves for dinner. The ambiance is casual, but it can get quite noisy when children are playing in the play area. Luckily for wheelchair users, the first floor is accessible. The building and grounds are clean; the hygiene is nothing to complain about, and the staff were doing their jobs as expected. They accept cash and cards. Whenever I go to any KFC, I always get their double-decker meal, as it's probably the best fast food burger, in my opinion. The prices are not what they used to be and are now a bit expensive, but since their portions are okay and their fried chicken always tastes good, I don't mind it. When we arrived, the parking lot was empty, so we had all the space in the world. One thing I've noticed in a lot of Sri Lankan KFCs is that they have started to stop using the air conditioning. So it was rather warm and uncomfortable inside, and they had closed off the top floor. We ordered an assortment of food, and we didn't have to wait too long for it to be made, which was nice.
